Murder Mystery 2 Halloween 2026: Emberbow, Battle Pass and Halloween Box (October 2026)

Halloween 2026 in Murder Mystery 2 started on 18 October at 21:00 CEST (19:00 UTC) and runs until 16 November. This year it has a retro style, with a 30-tier Battle Pass and the first Chroma Ancient weapons in the history of the game. As of 19 October 2026.

The key points at a glance

• Start: 18.10.2026, 21:00 CEST (19:00 UTC). End: 16.11.2026, 19:00 CET (18:00 UTC) (official "Halloween 2026" event on the game page).
• Currency: Candies. For the whole event, maps have no coins, only candy.
• Battle Pass: 30 tiers, with the Ancient Emberbow at the end.
• Halloween Box: 12 weapons, including the godly Embersickle.
• The Cauldron: you make Emberscythe from Emberbow and Embersickle.
• Mortal Bundle: 3399 Robux.

This is the 11th Halloween in MM2. The details below are based on the game's wiki, which is run by players, so some individual numbers may still change.

A lobby in the style of old MM2

The lobby is clearly smaller than usual and refers to the classic lobby from 2014-2018 and to the old haunted house map. Above the map voting spot there is a balcony with a hidden room. According to the wiki, you open it by clicking the skulls placed around the lobby in the order of the rainbow colors.

Behind the event NPC stands The Cauldron, the crafting cauldron. More on it below.

Candies: where to get them

You collect candy on the maps during rounds, just like you normally collect coins. You can also buy more with Robux, but the whole event can be completed without that. Extra Candies come from quests:

• Daily Quests: 3 quests a day, they refresh at 8:00 UTC (until 24 Oct that is 10:00 in Central Europe, after the clocks change 9:00).
• Event Quests: exclusive items for completing daily quests.
• Bingo: a 3x3 board with challenges for all three roles and the Infection mode. The squares give effects and toys.

Battle Pass and Emberbow

The Battle Pass has 30 tiers. The first one is free, the next ones cost 600 Candies each. Every second tier (from 3 to 27) gives a Halloween Key, which is a free box opening. Tier 29 has the Emberknife.

The last one, tier 30, is the Emberbow, an Ancient gun shaped like a crossbow, for 100,000 Candies. When you buy it, there is a very small chance of getting the Chroma Emberbow. It is the first Ancient in the game with a Chroma version.

Halloween Box: odds

The box costs 600 Candies or 1 Halloween Key and is the only box in this event. The most interesting drops according to the wiki:

Weapon	Rarity	Chance
Glow, Brew, Drool	Uncommon	18%
Catseye, Raven	Rare	8%
Embergun	Legendary	4%
Embersickle	Godly	0.2%
Chroma Embersickle	Godly (Chroma)	0.004%

A 0.2% chance means 1 Embersickle per 500 openings on average, so don't count on getting it after a few boxes.

The Cauldron: crafting Emberscythe

For the first time since Season 1 you can make an Ancient weapon yourself. You put the Embersickle and the Emberbow into the cauldron and get the Emberscythe, an Ancient knife shaped like a scythe. With a low chance you get the Chroma Emberscythe. You can craft as many times as you want, as long as you have the ingredients.

Maps

The new map is Haunted House 2, a refreshed version of the original haunted house. For the duration of the event, all earlier Halloween maps are also back: Manor, Farmhouse, Mineshaft, Barn (Infection), Vampire's Castle and Spaceship.

Mortal Bundle for Robux

This is the yearly bundle with a gamepass. The Mortal Bundle costs 3399 Robux (you can see the price in the game's shop on Roblox) and includes the godly Mortal knife, the godly Immortal gun and the Smolder effect. According to the wiki, Mortal and Immortal can be bought separately for 1699 Robux each, but then without the effect. You don't need to buy it to play.

Older Halloween weapons

Emberbow is not the first Halloween Ancient. Harvester was the last tier of the Battle Pass in 2021 (80,000 Candies), and Batwing comes from the Halloween 2018 gamepass. Both can only be obtained through trades today, because the events are over. The same will happen with this year's weapons after 16 November.

Where the value of such weapons comes from and how to trade safely is explained in weapon value in Murder Mystery 2. To find out whether there are any MM2 codes right now, check Murder Mystery 2 codes, and we have collected Halloween in other games in the overview of all Halloween 2026 events.
