Steal an Egg update history: all updates in order (October 2026)

Steal an Egg has been on Roblox for less than three months, and in that time it got a new biome or a big event almost every weekend. Below you have all the updates in one place, from the oldest to the newest. The dates come from the game's official events list on Roblox, and the content comes from the developers' notes collected on the game's wiki. As of 13 October 2026.

All start times are 15:00 UTC.

25 July 2026: launch

According to Roblox data, this is the day the game was created. The wiki only starts numbering updates in August, so there are no official notes from the first weeks.

22 August: Update 1, Cherry Blossom

The event on Roblox was called "ADMIN ABUSE!? + New Zone". It brought:

• the Cherry Blossom biome with 8 new animals (from Crane to Kitsune),
• the Sakura Incubator, which you unlock with Crane,
• the Bloom and Spirit Bloom mutations,
• the Great Bloom event every 30 minutes.

29 August: Update 2, Titan Temple

Under the slogan "MONSTERS ARE COMING..." came:

• the Titan Temple biome with 8 animals, including Gorilla King and Nightflame,
• the paid Monster Egg with six monsters and Mecha variants,
• the Hungry Frog event with parasites on eggs and Monster Chest crates. According to AllThingsHow, it lasted until 5 September.

5 September: Update 3, Rifts

"RIFTS ARE OPENING…" added rifts that open every 30 minutes with the boss Overlord, the Boss Tokens currency and the Boss Shop. On top of that came the Boss Mastery track, the Fractured mutation, sacrificing three pets in the lobby for a Rift Egg, and three Rift banners that change every 3 hours.

12 September: Update 4, Angels vs Demons

• the Angels & Demons biome, which switches every night to an angel or demon version (16 animals),
• a rare combined version with extra luck,
• the Secret Shrine for fusing pets,
• the Luminous Egg replacing the Monster Egg,
• a new tier of the treadmill and Trail, and a base upgrade with one extra pet slot.

19 September: Update 5, Dr. Scramble

The "SAMMY IS COMING" event opened the story with Dr. Scramble. Every 30 minutes drones flew onto the map, and you collected Samples from them for the Experiment Shop. There was also a quest with a hidden Nibbles (Experiment #013).

26 September: Update 6, Dr. Scramble's Revenge

Dr. Scramble came back in a mech every 30 minutes, with a reward track of 100 levels. Rift Trade-In replaced the Laboratory, where you trade eggs directly. The paid Extinction Egg also appeared. We described both stages in the article about the Dr. Scramble event.

3 October: Enchanted Forest

The "NEW BIOME IS COMING..." event introduced the thirteenth biome for 50B Speed, with Wisp quests, the Enchanted Tree and butterflies. The wiki already has an "Update 7" page titled Enchanted Forest, but without full notes. You will find the guide in the Enchanted Forest guide.

10 October: Mounts

"Mounts are coming!" let you ride your own pets. According to HoldToReset, it also brought races every 30 minutes and a shop for Trophies. More in the article about the latest Steal an Egg update.

17 October: Halloween (teaser)

The game's events list already shows "Halloween Dimension", scheduled from 17 to 24 October. The developers announce a two-part event with a gate to another dimension, bosses and secret eggs. We will learn the details once it starts.
