Steal an Egg Enchanted Forest guide: the hardest biome (October 2026)

Enchanted Forest is the thirteenth and currently last biome in Steal an Egg. According to the wiki, it has the highest speed requirement and the rarest eggs in the whole game. But it is not just another pen with nests: inside you will find a quest chain, a hidden tree, a butterfly hunt and a secret room for fusing in pairs. We will walk you through all of it step by step. As of October 2026.

The biome was added to the game on 3 October 2026. According to the official events list on Roblox, the start was scheduled for 15:00 UTC, which is 17:00 CEST.

Before you set off: checklist

A few things are worth preparing in advance, because you will need them for the quests:

• Speed with some to spare. 50B is the requirement to enter, and a big egg slows you down. We explain how to build it up in how to get Speed fast.
• A plan for an Eternal egg. The third Wisp quest requires stealing any Eternal egg. According to the wiki, such pets exist in each of the later biomes: Oni Tiger in Cherry Blossom, Gorilla King in Titan Temple, Pegasus and Skeleton Horse in Angels & Demons.
• Don't sell duplicates. For the second quest you need three identical pets from Enchanted Forest, so keep the repeats of the most common ones.
• Free spots in your pen. The first quest needs you to bring back 20 eggs, so some room for several at once will help.

Stage 1: get to the forest

Enchanted Forest is located behind the Angels & Demons biome. The wiki gives a requirement of 50B Speed, and the HoldToReset and Bloxodes guides recommend the same. A lower number (20B) is also floating around online, but Bloxodes points out that nobody has confirmed it. So count on 50B, and on even more to get back safely with a big egg.

The nests are guarded by Celestial Sunlion, a glowing lion. If you are too slow, it can end your run with a single catch.

Stage 2: collect eight pets

There are 8 pets in the biome. Rarities according to Bloxodes:

1. Prism Gecko: Legendary
2. Petal Beetle: Mythic
3. Enchanted Bluejay: Mythic
4. Astral Jackalope: Cosmic
5. Spirit Panda: Cosmic
6. Starry Fox: Secret
7. Celestial Sunlion: Eternal
8. Royal Skywhale: Divine

Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale are the rarest. To hatch these eight pets you don't need to do any quests or open the tree, you just have to steal eggs.

If you see specific earnings numbers for the pets from this biome online, be careful with them. At the time of writing the wiki did not have verified values yet, and the guides don't give them.

Stage 3: Wisp quests

Once you have enough Speed, the Wisp appears in the forest: a small spirit and a quest giver (it is not a ninth pet). Bloxodes advises looking for it on the right side of the entrance or next to the board with the recommended Speed. If you can't see it, try a different server.

In the Grow Your Wisp panel you have three quests that unlock one after another:

1. Steal 20 eggs from Enchanted Forest and bring them to your base.
2. Fuse a pet from Enchanted Forest. According to Bloxodes, you do it at your base in the Fuse Machine, by combining three identical pets from this biome.
3. Steal any Eternal egg, from any biome.

Heads up, the third quest is not the end. After you complete it, open Grow Your Wisp once more and pick Return the Wisp.

Stage 4: enter the Enchanted Tree

After you return the Wisp, the sealed tree opens. According to HoldToReset, you walk past the guardian and go through the tree door on the right. Inside there are three important things:

• Butterfly Net, a free butterfly net,
• a station for swapping butterflies for other rarities,
• the Enchanted Mutation Shrine altar.

Stage 5: Butterfly Bloom and the Enchanted mutation

Taking the net unlocks the Butterfly Bloom event. According to HoldToReset, it starts every 30 minutes, at :15 and :45 of every hour, and the game announces it with a message. During that time butterflies appear in the forest in four rarities: Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst and the rarest, Radiant.

You can swap the butterflies you catch for other rarities, or spend them at the altar on Enchanted Essence. According to HoldToReset, this essence gives 100% mutation certainty and works on any egg before it hatches. However, nobody has confirmed the Enchanted mutation multiplier or the exact costs yet, so check them at the altar in the game. We explain how mutations multiply earnings in the mutations guide.

Stage 6: a secret for the persistent, Cricket's Banjo

There is also a hidden path in the tree. According to HoldToReset, it goes like this:

1. Go up the ramp in the Enchanted Tree, stand by the railing and jump down to the lower ramp.
2. Walk to its end and jump into the void. A portal will take you to a new room.
3. Solve the puzzle with five colorful mushrooms: hit them in the order they light up. You have to do it flawlessly five times in a row.
4. In the hidden lounge, talk to the Jitterbug. You will get Cricket's Banjo and a Jitterbug Egg from it (a Secret rank Jitterbug hatches from it).

The banjo also works like a bat, but the most important thing is something else: when you play it at the chasm at the top of the ramp, a bridge appears. It leads to a room where two players can fuse Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale together. What exactly comes out of it has not been confirmed at the time of writing.

The most common question: where to start

If you have less than 50B Speed, level up in the earlier biomes first. Once you get into the forest, the order is simple: first eggs and 20 steals for the Wisp quest, then the fusion, then the Eternal egg. The tree, the butterflies and the banjo are extras that give mutations and secrets, but you don't need them to collect all eight pets.
