The Steal an Egg map is a chain of biomes that get farther and farther from your base. Each next one has a higher Speed requirement, a more dangerous guard and more valuable eggs. Here are all 13 biomes with what is worth knowing about them. As of October 2026.

Items for Steal an Egg are in the DzikShop store

You can also find a short list of requirements in the beginner's guide. Here we go deeper: who guards the eggs, which pets are inside and what else each biome hides.

Before you enter a new biome

Three things that apply to every biome:

  • The requirement is the minimum. The game wiki stresses that if you have exactly as much Speed as the biome asks for, you are not guaranteed to get back safely with a big egg. AllThingsHow recommends a buffer of around 15-20% for big eggs.
  • Eggs respawn every 5 minutes. Bloxodes adds that after a respawn the map was briefly closed (about 13 seconds in August 2026).
  • You can't steal at night. That is a good time to train on the treadmill.

When a guard catches you, the egg drops on the ground and any player nearby can pick it up. Guards stop chasing you when you run into your safe zone.

Start: Forest, Lake, Desert

1. Forest (no requirement, guard Chicken). The biome right next to your base, with 8 pets to start. The weakest Chicken earns $1/s and the best one, Brr Brr Patapim (Legendary), earns $1.8K/s. This is where you learn the basics: you pick up the egg with the E key and run back.

2. Lake (900 Speed, guard Swan). The first biome with a requirement. It has eggs with land and water animals. The biggest gem is Leviathan (Cosmic) with $220K/s, which is over a hundred times more than the best pet from Forest.

3. Desert (10K Speed, guard Scorpion). A desert with pyramids and 7 pets. At the top is Royal Sphinx (Cosmic) with $280K/s. The free gift for liking the game (10,000 Speed) opens this biome for you right away.

Mid game: Jungle, Snow, Volcano

4. Jungle (40K Speed, guard Tiger). This is where the first Secret rank pet appears: King Snake with $3.5M/s. The wiki itself notes that sources do not agree on the exact Jungle threshold, so keep a buffer.

5. Snow (170K Speed, guard Yeti). A freezing biome with the first Eternal pet, Ice Dragon. The wiki lists $85M/s for it and AllThingsHow lists $65M/s, so numbers from different sources can differ. Infected eggs with a purple glow for the Hungry Monster event also start in Snow.

6. Volcano (700K Speed). Lava and magma, with two Eternal pets inside: Phoenix and Lava Dragon ($100M/s). According to the main wiki table the guard is Cerberus, and according to an older table it is Hellhound. Volcano also has one of the parts for the safe from the Dr. Scramble quest.

The eggs from these biomes look like this:

Late game: Abyss Ocean, Prehistoric, Cosmic

7. Abyss Ocean (2.5M Speed, guard Moby). A deep ocean where Dr. Scramble's cave is hidden. According to the wiki, the Experiment #013 quest starts on the left side of the wall and ends with a stick as the reward. The best pet is El Maja (Eternal) with $130M/s.

8. Prehistoric (17-18M Speed, guard T-Rex). Dinosaurs and the widest spread of requirements between sources, so count on 18M or more. AllThingsHow even says that 20M is realistically worth having. At the top is Mosasaurus (Eternal, $180M/s).

9. Cosmic (700M Speed). A space biome with the first Divine pet: Unicorn earns $1B/s. According to the main wiki table the guard is Cosmic Skeleton, and according to an older table it is a dragon. For the Unicorn alone, the Index gives +2.4M Speed according to the wiki.

Endgame: Cherry Blossom, Titan Temple, Angels & Demons, Enchanted Forest

10. Cherry Blossom (2.5B Speed, guard Oni Tiger). A Japanese garden with a torii gate, added in the first update. The most valuable pet is Kitsune (Divine, $1.8B/s). The Sakura Incubator for the Bloom and Spirit Bloom mutations stands in this biome, but the wiki currently describes it as inactive. Details in the post about the Cherry Blossom biome.

11. Titan Temple (7B Speed, guard Gorilla King). A South American jungle with the Titan's temple. 8 pets, and at the top is Nightflame (Divine, $3B/s). Gorilla King is both the guard and an Eternal pet here.

12. Angels & Demons (20B Speed). This biome changes form every night: Angels, Demons or a rare combined version that, according to update 4, has more luck. Each side has 8 pets, and the best ones are ArchAngel and World Burner (Divine, $5B/s each). The Secret Shrine is hidden in the waterfall, where you combine a pair of pets from both sides: Pegasus with Skeleton Horse gives Equinox, and ArchAngel with World Burner gives Aetheron ($10B/s). We cover it in the post about Angels & Demons.

13. Enchanted Forest (50B Speed). The newest biome, added in early October 2026. The wiki describes it as the highest zone with the rarest eggs. According to Hold To Reset, the eggs are guarded by Celestial Sunlion, and inside there are 8 pets: Prism Gecko, Petal Beetle, Enchanted Bluejay, Astral Jackalope, Spirit Panda, Starry Fox, Celestial Sunlion and Royal Skywhale (the last two are the rarest). There is also a quest from Wisp and the Butterfly Bloom event with a new mutation. Full description in the post about Enchanted Forest.

Eggs from the final biomes:

How to move between biomes

A simple routine that works at every stage:

  1. Train up to the next biome's threshold plus a buffer. Count 15-20% above the requirement if you are going for big eggs.
  2. Make your first visit for a small egg. A small egg slows you down less, so you can check the route and the guard without much risk.
  3. Hatch every pet from the biome at least once. The Index pays for each new pet, and the rewards in later biomes go into the hundreds of thousands of Speed.
  4. Only then hunt for big eggs. Once you know the route, a heavy egg stops being a lottery.

If you reach the egg but keep losing it on the way back, don't go any further yet. Go back to training, and we describe the fastest way to do it in the post how to get Speed quickly.

Why sources give different numbers

According to the game's Roblox page, Steal an Egg was created in late July 2026 and has since received seven big updates, so requirements and guard names sometimes change. The wiki itself has two tables that differ in a few places (Volcano, Cosmic, Prehistoric). The final source is always what you see in the game.
