The most expensive pet in Adopt Me trades as of 19 October 2026 is Bat Dragon, worth about 3 Frost Dragons. Below you will find the values of the most valuable pets from three sites, and an explanation of where these numbers come from.

Items for Adopt Me are in the DzikShop store

First, the important part: these are not official prices

Adopt Me has no official values. Elvebredd says it outright on its site: the values are not official, and the site has nothing to do with Uplift Games, the game's developers. All the lists are kept by fans, based on how players trade with each other.

What this means for you:

  • Values change every week, sometimes every day. AdoptMeValues says it updates its list daily.
  • The sites disagree. Each one counts in its own way, so the same pet can have a different value on two different pages.
  • These are rough numbers from trades between players, not a price list. They tell you roughly what you can get in a trade, and nothing more.

We checked all the numbers in this article on 19 October 2026. Before you rely on them in a trade, open the site and check the fresh data.

Values of the most valuable pets in Adopt Me

Elvebredd and AdoptMeValues count in points (Bat Dragon is around 1000 there), while Game.Guide uses Frost Dragon = 1000. To make them comparable, in the last column we converted everything into Frost Dragons, because that is how players often count trades.

Pet Elvebredd AdoptMeValues How many Frost Dragons (3 sites)
Bat Dragon 1015 1000 3.1-3.2
Shadow Dragon 845 676 2.0-2.6
Giraffe 474 462 1.4-1.5
Frost Dragon 327 315 1 (reference point)
Owl 246.5 243.5 0.75-0.8
Giant Panda 219 220 0.6-0.7
Blazing Lion 202 201 0.5-0.65
Parrot 197.5 195.5 0.6
Crow 178 177 0.55
Balloon Unicorn 169 171 0.5-0.55
African Wild Dog 158 160 0.5
Cryptid 151 154 0.45-0.5

Values for regular pets without potions (No Potion). As of 19 October 2026, the numbers change every week.

This shows well why you should not trust a single list. For Shadow Dragon, Elvebredd gives more than 2.5 Frost Dragons, while AdoptMeValues and Game.Guide give about 2. For Bat Dragon and Giraffe, all three sites say almost the same thing.

Why these pets are so expensive

All the pets at the top of the table have one thing in common: they can no longer be obtained normally in the game. According to the Adopt Me wiki:

  • Bat Dragon came out for Halloween 2019 and cost 180,000 Candy in the event shop. Today you can only get it in a trade.
  • Shadow Dragon is also from Halloween 2019 (from 18 October 2019) and cost 1000 Robux.
  • Frost Dragon came out on 20 December 2019, also for 1000 Robux.
  • Giraffe comes from the Safari Egg from July 2019. The hatch chance was 3%.
  • Owl and Crow are from the Farm Egg (November 2019), each with a 1.5% chance.
  • Parrot comes from the Jungle Egg from August 2019, with a 3% chance.

The older the event and the lower the hatch chance, the fewer of these pets are around between players. AdoptMeValues lists four things that move a value: rarity, availability (pets from retired eggs get more expensive over time), demand, and whether the pet has potions.

How values changed over time

Elvebredd shows the history of changes. As of 19 October 2026, Bat Dragon gained about 8% over the last 30 days and more than 120% over the year. Frost Dragon gained almost 100% in a year, and Shadow Dragon just under 90%. Cryptid lost about 6% in the last month. This shows that even the most expensive pets can move within a few weeks.

Neon and Mega Neon: how much more they are worth

You make a Neon from 4 fully grown pets of the same kind, and a Mega Neon from 4 fully grown Neons. That is how AdoptMeValues describes it. Such a pet glows (a Mega Neon shimmers in rainbow colors), and its value goes up a lot. Examples from AdoptMeValues as of 19 October 2026:

Pet Regular Neon Mega Neon
Bat Dragon 1000 approx. 2300 approx. 6900
Shadow Dragon 676 approx. 1300 approx. 3300
Giraffe 462 918 approx. 2900
Frost Dragon 315 551 approx. 1400

One Mega Neon takes as many as 16 regular pets (4 Neons, each made from 4 pets), which is why there are so few of them. We explain how to make a Neon step by step in the article Neon and Mega Neon in Adopt Me.

Fly and Ride potions and value

On value lists you will see the letters F and R next to every pet. F means Fly (the pet flies), R means Ride (you can ride it). According to AdoptMeValues, each variant has its own value: No Potion, Fly, Ride and Fly Ride. Interestingly, a pet without any potions is often worth more than the Fly Ride version, because collectors like "clean" pets.

That is why, before a trade, always check which version of the pet someone is offering you. A regular Bat Dragon and a Mega Neon Fly Ride Bat Dragon have completely different values.

New pets from Halloween 2026

Adopt Me is running Halloween right now: Stitches' Spotlight. According to the game's description on Roblox, you can get the pets Stitches and Shoebill, and there is also Boohoo. Game.Guide marks them as new, and their values are still being worked out.

AdoptMeValues hints at how it usually goes: pets from a new egg are expensive at first and often get cheaper as more and more people hatch them. When the event or the egg ends, the value usually slowly goes up. You can read more about the event itself in the article Adopt Me: Halloween 2026.

How to use values so you don't get scammed

A value list helps you judge an offer, but it does not protect you from a scammer. A few rules:

  • Trade only in the official trade window in the game. According to the Adopt Me wiki, the game itself warns you when it thinks a trade is unfair, and then gives you an extra 15 seconds to think.
  • Check every pet in the trade window: age, whether it is a Neon, which potions it has. AdoptMeValues warns about last-second pet swaps and about pets that only look similar.
  • Don't do "trust trades", meaning handing over a pet in exchange for a promise that someone will give you something later.
  • To trade ultra-rare and legendary pets you need a Trade License. You get it after a short test in the Safety Hub.
  • Don't convert values into real money. They are points from trades between players, not a price.

You will find more tips in the article how to trade safely in Adopt Me and in the general guide how trading works in Roblox games. If you are just starting out, begin with the Adopt Me beginner's guide.
