Blox Fruits Mutations: Werewolf, Empyrean and Fiend (October 2026)

Three mutations in Blox Fruits: Werewolf, Empyrean and Fiend. Find out how they differ from the base fruits, what they cost and whether you can still get them.

Are you looking for mutations in Blox Fruits and seeing tables with multipliers online? You won't find them here, because this game works differently. A mutation is not a bonus to price or income. It is a separate version of a fruit with a different look and different moves. Below you will find all three, their differences and ways to get them (as of 21 October 2026).

What mutations in Blox Fruits are (and what they are not)

According to the game wiki, mutations are alternative versions of existing fruits. They change the look, and unlike skins they also change the abilities. That is why there is no "x2 multiplier" or "x5 multiplier" here. What matters is how the different version plays.

Two important things worth knowing right away:

  • A mutation has its own Mastery. If you switch from the base fruit, you level up from the start again.
  • The wiki says to treat mutations as separate fruits, because they have different ways of getting them and do not share Mastery with the original.

All three mutations are Beast-type fruits and all of them are tied to events. Each one also has its own transformation.

All mutations: list

Mutation Base fruit Event
Werewolf Tiger Halloween 2025
Empyrean Kitsune Fox Spirit Bundle
Fiend Yeti Valentines 2026

Werewolf was the first mutation, Empyrean the second and Fiend the third.

Werewolf (the Tiger mutation)

Werewolf appeared in Halloween 2025. You could get it through the Hunter Bundle or the Halloween Gacha Dealer. It could also be bought separately for 1500 Robux, as long as you had a permanent Tiger.

How does it play differently from Tiger? Werewolf has lower speed, accuracy and hitboxes, but in return it has a better attack and self-healing. Its strengths are Z Finger Revolver with area damage, life steal in the transformation, and Blazing Form, which heals 30% of max health. After you defeat a player in this form, your full health is restored.

According to the Sportskeeda guide, Werewolf does equally well in PvE and PvP. You unlock the transformation at 300 Mastery. The same guide (from October 2025) says it was available at night, but that information may be out of date.

Empyrean (the Kitsune mutation)

Empyrean is the hardest mutation to get. The wiki lists two ways: the Fox Spirit Bundle or a separate purchase for 2000 Robux if you have a permanent Kitsune.

There is also a random way. The Galaxy Empyrean (Kitsune) skin dropped from the Winter 2025 Fruit Box with a 0.8% chance. The wiki calls this the hardest thing to get by legit methods. The Galaxy skin only changes the colors.

I could not confirm a description of Empyrean's moves here, so I am leaving it out. Check it on the fruit's page on the wiki.

Fiend (the Yeti mutation)

Fiend is the Yeti mutation from the Valentines 2026 event. You could get it through the Raging Frost Bundle or the Valentines Gacha Dealer, and separately for 1500 Robux (with a permanent Yeti). The Runic Fiend (Yeti) skin dropped from the Chromatic Box with a 1% chance.

Fiend plays more aggressively. In the transformation you get 34% damage defense, about 25% more speed, a double jump and dash, and about 25% shorter cooldowns. The Fiend wiki describes it as a mutation with slightly worse defense than Yeti, but with much higher damage, better mobility and healing.

In the Fiend transformation you also walk on water, which costs energy. It also has a super dash that deals damage and grabs the opponent. You unlock the transformation at 300 Mastery.

How to get a mutation in 2026

The bad news: according to the wiki, none of the three mutations is available anymore without spending Robux. The events are over, and the physical versions were limited.

Two ways are left:

  • Buying with Robux. This requires the permanent version of the base fruit. Prices according to the wiki: Werewolf 1500, Fiend 1500, Empyrean 2000 Robux. The wiki notes that only the physical versions are limited.
  • Trading with players. Mutations work like special tradable items. You can read about safe trades in the guide to trading in Roblox.

The wiki also lists event methods: bundles, gacha, searching under trees. Those no longer work.

How to equip a mutation

You have two ways:

  1. Hold the base fruit and choose the mutation in the Wardrobe tab in the Inventory.
  2. Go to the permanent fruit shop and click Mutations next to the fruit's description.

There is a catch with a physical mutation. After you eat it, you only get the mutation and cannot go back to the base fruit. Only when you switch to the original, or have its permanent version, can you change freely.

Which one to choose

The choice depends on how you play, not on a multiplier. I am relying on the descriptions from the wiki:

  • Werewolf: if you like an aggressive style and self-healing after defeating a player.
  • Fiend: if you want mobility, defense in the transformation and healing.
  • Empyrean: more of a collector's item, because it is the hardest to get.

You can find a general ranking of all fruits (not just mutations) in the ranking of the best fruits.

Base fruits in the shop

Since getting a mutation requires a permanent base fruit, it is worth knowing that DzikShop offers Tiger, Yeti and Kitsune. These are only base fruits, and there are no mutations in this set. It all depends on whether you want to go this way at all.

You can find more about the offer on the Blox Fruits page in the shop.

What next

If you prefer to start with the basics, see how to level up fast in Blox Fruits. Around Halloween it is worth following the official announcements, because last year that is when Werewolf appeared. Whether a new mutation will come this year is not known.

Frequently asked questions

What mutations are there in Blox Fruits?

As of 21 October 2026 there are three: Werewolf (the Tiger mutation), Empyrean (the Kitsune mutation) and Fiend (the Yeti mutation). All of them are Beast-type fruits with a transformation.

Do mutations in Blox Fruits have multipliers?

No. Mutations do not have multipliers like in Grow a Garden or Steal a Brainrot. They change the look and the set of abilities of a fruit, and their strength depends on the moves and passives.

Can you still get mutations in Blox Fruits?

According to the wiki, none of the three can be obtained anymore without spending Robux. What is left is buying with Robux (if you have the permanent version of the base fruit) and trading with other players.

Does a mutation share Mastery with the original fruit?

No. A mutation has its own Mastery, so after switching to it you have to level up from the start again. The wiki says to treat mutations as separate fruits.

How do you equip a mutation in Blox Fruits?

Hold the base fruit and choose the mutation in the Wardrobe tab in the Inventory. You can also go to the permanent fruit shop and click Mutations next to the fruit's description.
