Most Popular Roblox Games (17 October 2026): Top 10 by Players Online

Here are the top 10 Roblox games by players online. The data comes from the Top Playing Now sorting on 17 October 2026, 00:53. The numbers change during the day, so treat this as a snapshot of one moment.

Places 1-3: the giants

1. Steal An Egg (1,084,706 players)

A game by Collect Rare Pets: you steal eggs from animals, hatch them and collect rare pets. Speed decides where you can safely go, and you get it on the treadmill in your base. Do you enter a biome with too little Speed? A guard can catch you and throw you back, and the egg you are carrying drops.

Who it is for: fans of collecting and risky trips. Start: the treadmill, then the next biomes. Everything step by step is in the beginner's guide to Steal an Egg. The game has more than twice as many players as number two.

The shop also has eggs for this game, for example Titan Temple Egg and Cosmic Egg. The current prices are in the shop.

2. Brookhaven RP (452,752 players)

A game from 2020 by Wolfpaq: roleplay in a city with houses and vehicles. It is an open sandbox with no strict goal and no progress bar.

Who it is for: people who prefer playing roles to racing for records. Start: you open the menu with the M key or the Roblox icon in the top left corner, then choose the Houses tab. Most houses are free, and the paid game pass is only for bigger or special ones.

3. Adopt Me! (282,189 players)

A pet care simulator where pets hatch from eggs. At the start you get an egg that hatches into a dog or a cat.

Halloween is on right now. The event runs from 3 to 31 October and added temporary places: Manor, Hotel, Crypt and Carnival. On 16 October the Stitches' Spotlight update came out with a new minigame, pets and accessories. Some of the additions cost Robux, for example Blue Boohoo Mega Neon Paint for 49 Robux. Check the price before you click. The shop also has regular pets for Adopt Me, for example Warthog and Catte. The current prices are in the shop.

More about the updates: Sportskeeda.

Places 4-7: action, competition and survival

4. Murder Mystery 2 (212,878 players)

A round has one Murderer, one Sheriff and up to ten Innocents. The Sheriff starts with a gun, the Murderer with a knife, and the Innocents with no weapon.

Who it is for: people who like bluffing and fast rounds. Start: play as an Innocent and do not shoot unless you are sure. Skins change the look of your character, knife and weapon. The shop has, for example, the Elderwood Set. The current price is in the shop.

5. RIVALS (175,365 players)

An FPS shooter. Standard duels go from 1v1 to 5v5, with a separate Beginner 2v2 queue that is only for new players. In Gun Game every kill changes your weapon, and the last one is the Glass Shard. According to the game's wiki there are already 21 modes, see the list of RIVALS modes.

Start: Beginner 2v2 or a relaxed Gun Game. The shop has add-ons for RIVALS, for example the Skin Case and the RPG Bundle. The current prices are in the shop.

6. Blox Fruits (168,404 players)

We have a separate post about the fruits that decide how strong your character is: best Blox Fruits fruits for PvP and grinding. There you will find a ranking and tips on where to start.

7. 99 Nights in the Forest (156,976 players)

The goal is in the title: last until the end of 99 nights. You can find a survival guide here: 99 Nights in the Forest guide.

Places 8-10: fighting and horror

8. Jujutsu Shenanigans (156,026 players)

A fast battlegrounds game inspired by the anime Jujutsu Kaisen, where you fight other players with techniques and combos. There can be up to 20 players in the arenas. Who it is for: anime and PvP fans. You start with a chain of M1 hits and add four abilities. Timing matters, not button mashing.

9. Forsaken (150,736 players)

An asymmetric horror game: one player is the Killer and the rest are Survivors, who do tasks and escape. Survivors win by repairing generators and escaping. Free at the start are Noob, Shedletsky and Elliot (Survivors) and c00lkidd and Slasher (Killers). Who it is for: people who like tension and playing in a team.

10. Dandy's World (142,312 players)

A mascot horror game by BlushCrunch Studio: you control Toons, repair Machines and avoid Twisteds on the following floors. You can play on a public server or set up a free private one, which is recommended for the first time. The wiki says the game is recommended for ages 9 and up and has no jump scares, but it does contain disturbing content. According to the Dandy's World wiki it is a game about cooperation, not duels.

For parents

The two horror games in the top 10 are Forsaken and Dandy's World. Check the age and description on the game's page on Roblox, not just the name. Games with add-ons for Robux (for example Adopt Me!) are worth looking through together before anything is bought.
