Animal Hospital Halloween Update: Skins and Halloween Coins

Animal Hospital got a Halloween update, and the whole hospital is now dressed up in seasonal decorations. There are new tasks with trick-or-treaters, a new currency called Halloween Coins and limited skins. As of 18 October 2026, the developers have not published full patch notes, so we are using the game wiki and community descriptions.

When the update came out

The game wiki lists the Halloween! update under the date 17 October 2026, at 18:00 UTC. The previous big update, Ron from 3 October, added things like Roleplay Mode in the lobby and a lobby for 5 players.

For now the wiki lists only two things: the new Halloween event and the new Halloween Coins. Players and guide sites are collecting the details.

What is new in the Halloween update

According to the Treyex Gaming description, the changes look like this:

• The lobby and the hospital are decorated for Halloween.
• The Classes menu has a new Halloween tab with limited costumes.
• Trick-or-treaters come to the hospital and ask for candy, so you get an extra task next to your usual work.
• You get Halloween Coins for taking part in this activity.

So besides looking after patients and watching for anomalies, you also have to hand out sweets. Remember that not every visitor is who they seem to be, so check them as always.

Halloween Coins and skins

Halloween Coins are a temporary event currency. You buy the skins from the Halloween tab with them, and the coins are supposed to disappear after the event ends. If you like something, spend them before the event ends.

Among the costumes, Treyex Gaming mentions:

• Spooky Intern
• Empirista
• Ancient Count Dracula
• Werewolf Security

This is not the full list (the description in the source is longer). You can see the full set yourself in the Halloween tab in the Classes menu. The site notes that Halloween Coins can also be bought with paid currencies, but you can earn them in the game itself, so buying is not necessary.

New achievements

Players in the wiki discussion about the event described four new achievements:

• Wear a Halloween skin.
• Give candy to an anomaly.
• Give candy to the first trick-or-treater, the one who comes up to the Halloween reception.
• Hand out candy to 100 trick-or-treaters.

Giving candy to an anomaly is an interesting idea, but be careful not to let something dangerous inside along the way.

How long the event lasts

Here the sources differ. The Animal Hospital Guide page says that the official Roblox event list shows a window of 17 October - 1 November. In another place, the same page shows the whole campaign as 17 October - 14 November.

The event list also has Halloween - Part 2 in the window of 27-31 October. The developers have not said yet what it will include. So do not plan how to spend your coins around any rumours until you see the new offer in the game.

Animal Coins and the shop

Halloween Coins are a separate currency from the regular Animal Coins, which are used to pay for classes and skins in the permanent offer.
